Nicola is a painting graduate of Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Originally from Edinburgh, Nicola relocated to the North East of Scotland to complete her honours degree.

In her final year of study, Nicola was nominated for, and won the Freeland’s Painting Prize. As a result she exhibited in Primrose Hill, London during Autumn 2021. Following her graduation, a piece from her degree show collection was awarded the Robert Gordon University Heritage and Archive Collection Purchase Prize. Awarded a Kinross Scholarship by the Royal Scottish Academy, she travelled to Florence in 2022 where she continued to research and expand her current practice. In 2023 she travelled to West Australia to live and work for several months.

Nicola is also an artist for the Contemporary Six Gallery located in Manchester, UK.
